Twenty years on and WYC member, Andy Gibson was again part of the winning team at this year's London Windsurfing Association's Icebreaker series. This time he was accompanied by his daughter Jenna, one of WYC's cadet members. Back in 1991, WYC windsurfers won this prestigious event with a team consisting of a couple of ex-Commodores, Andy and a number of other well known faces from the club! RACE OFFICER VACANCY - MEMBERSHIP OFFER

After several years John Boorman has decided to give up his role as club race officer so he can do more sailing. There is therefore a vacancy for a volunteer to take over the role of club race officer. This involves a commitment to do at least 10 duties a year (often including major club events). Free membership will be offered to a suitable candidate. We also require race recorders to join the existing team who would also be willing to commit to no fewer than 10 duties and would be able to go on the Committee Boat. If you are interested please contact Sally in the office for more details.
