Tom Oliver awarded bursary funding by L&SE RYA

We're pleased to announce that WYC sailor, instructor and, until recently, Cadet Captain, Tom Oliver has been awarded bursary funding for a Racing Coach Level 2 course by the London and South East RYA. Of the award, Tom said "After racing at the club for the last 10 or so years alongside teaching for the past 4, I was nominated by Richard Maltby for the Bursary. I was eager to continue passing my knowledge down to others as has been done to me over the years. The helpfulness of WYC sailors has enabled me become the sailor I am today and so I hope to reciprocate this to the younger generation of the club. This will also help me expand my wings and take my skills to other Clubs through KSSA training and other events around the South east coast."
