Wednesday 2nd to Sunday 6th August

• 2 races back-to-back, all 2pm afternoon starts, Wednesday to Sunday.
• 10 races in the series, 8 to count.
• Committee boat starts.
• Social events every evening.
• Prize-giving on Sunday, prizes for the top places in each eligible class, as well as special prizes for outstanding achievements.
• Note: New format for 2023 - Wednesday to Sunday!

Visitors to the Yacht Club are welcome, and we regularly host visiting sailors for the week, both from local Kent sailing clubs, and from as far afield as Yorkshire and Scotland. Whitstable offers some of the best sailing conditions in the south-east, with great fleet racing (especially the Tasars, Lasers and Cats), and the town is also a great holiday destination for shopping, restaurants, and pubs. There's plenty of space to park your boat, a great chandlery right next door. Entry Fees

• Adult Weekly Entry - £60.00
• Adult Daily Entry - £18.00
• Cadet Weekly Entry - £5.00
• Young Person Weekly Entry (18-25 years) - £30.00
• Young Person Daily Entry - £9.00

2023 Programme

Details of the sailing and entertainment planned for the week:

Wednesday 2nd August	Briefing at 12.30. 2pm first race start, two races	CADET & FAMILIES BRING YOU OWN BBQ from 1730hrs, with Taskmaster challenges from 1830hrs!
Thursday 3rd August	2pm first race start, two races	LAZY QUIZ NIGHT, hosted by Sam & Ian. First queestion at 1900hrs. Teams of 6 max.
Friday 4th August	2pm first race start, two races	MUSIC NIGHT & COMMODORES COCKTAILS. (Cocktails served between 1800 – 1930hrs). Live music from our very own talented club members
Saturday 5th August	2pm first race start, two races	WYC SUMMER BALL. LIVE MUSIC from Betty & the Swingtones. Dress code: Black Tie. Fizzy 1900hrs. Canapes 1930hrs. Music 2030hrs. Carriages Home 2330hrs. Limited number of tickets for canapes and fizzy available from 1st July behind the bar free of charge on a first come first served basis.
Sunday 6th August	2pm first race start, two races	PRIZE GIVING following the last race
