The 2016 Tasar National Championship at Whitstable Yacht Club

Whitstable Yacht Club is proud to be hosting the 2016 Tasar National Championships. Whitstable Yacht Club has one of the largest fleets of Tasars in the UK and the club has a long tradition of organising events at Club, National and International Levels. Eight championship races will be held in Whitstable Bay over three days, and there will be an accompanying programme of social events.

You can enter and pay the fee online below. There are discounts for early-bird entries. Please also download and complete the entry form and send this to the WYC office before the start of the event (this gives us important information about who is eligible for extra prizes in the different age categories, etc.). If you do not wish to pay online you should also enclose a cheque for the entry fee with this form.

Whitstable offers some of the best sailing conditions in the south-east, with excellent fleet racing (especially Tasars, Merlin Rockets, Lasers and Catamarans), and the town is also a great holiday destination for shopping, restaurants, and pubs. There's plenty of space to park your boat, a large chandlery right next door, and you can find details of accommodation here.
