WYC Coronavirus (CORVID-19) Response - Updated Sunday 5th April

Friends and members,
In line with RYA and government guidance, the WYC General Committee have agreed that the clubhouse will be closed and all organised sailing and social activities will be cancelled with immediate effect:

• The clubhouse, changing rooms and deck area will be closed until further notice except for those who have to work on the premises and where there is no viable alternative.
• The club phones and voicemail are not being regularly monitored. To contact the club, please email office@wyc.org.uk
• All club meetings and social events are cancelled until further notice.
• No formal racing or organised sailing will take place until further notice.
• All sailing open events in the WYC calendar for May and June are cancelled: B14 Open, the Forts Race Weekend, the Wanderer Open, the Tasar National Championships and the Merlin Rocket Silver Tiler.
• Training courses will be postponed to later in the year. Please contact the training team to reschedule if you have a booking.
• Duty commitments are temporarily suspended.

Thank you for your support in making this happen. The General Committee will regularly review the situation and we will share any further developments by email, on the website and social media with the aim to resume normal club activities as soon as it is safe to do so.
